Pick A Fixer publishes service provider listings, buying guidance, and home-services articles that help homeowners find and compare qualified professionals. We separate editorial content from listings and advertising: providers cannot pay to influence our ratings, rankings, or editorial coverage.
Who Creates Our Content
Articles and guides are written by editors with practical experience in home maintenance and trades, and reviewed before publication. Every author is published with a real byline, biography, and credentials on the article page. We never publish anonymous reviews or ghost-written service claims.
How Providers Are Listed
Companies are listed in the directory when they meet our listing criteria: an actively operating business, verifiable contact details, and agreement to our terms. Approved providers may manage their profiles and respond to reviews; they cannot remove or edit a verified review.
Review Authenticity
We moderate every review before it is published and mark reviews that come from registered clients as verified. We prohibit incentivized or fake reviews and remove any review that does not meet our guidelines. If a provider suspects a review, they can flag it and our moderation team investigates.
Corrections & Feedback
We correct factual errors promptly. If you believe any listing, article, or review contains inaccurate information, contact us at the email address on our Contact page with the details and we will investigate and respond.
